Lessons at Jammin’ Music are on a month-to-month basis; there is no contract for a minimum amount of months. However, we do assume you are continuing lessons with us unless you fill out a Student Withdrawal form at the front desk.
We strongly encourage signing up for monthly automatic withdrawal to easily manage your monthly tuition and avoid having to pay late fees. For students paying in person at the front desk every month, tuition is due by the first of the month.
Your tuition reserves your time slot solely for you; once you book a permanent weekly slot, we will turn others away from that time. Because of this, all lessons must be paid for whether they are attended or not. (The one exception to this rule is during July-August, when you may schedule vacation absences.) Makeup lessons may be scheduled if your notify us of your absence PRIOR to your lesson, in accordance with our makeup lesson policies.
Monthly tuition does not cover your instructional books. Music books are chosen for each student individually by their instructor for optimal learning, and are available in the book section of our studio.
New Student Registration Fee
An initial membership fee of $25 is charged to all private lesson students.
Your registration fee helps to cover the many administrative costs and expenses involved with running a studio, including:

2. Friendly front desk staff available every day to accommodate lesson cancellations/rescheduling as well as monthly payments.
3. Yearly tunings of all studio pianos
4. Free printouts/photocopies of sheet music
5. The many, many other expenses involved in running a music studio
