Focus On Teaching
Teaching music is our primary function. We sell music accessories (instructional books, guitar strings and picks, etc.) and rent orchestra instruments for your convenience, but our main focus is on providing the highest quality of music instruction, NOT selling you the latest music gear. Our multi-room lesson studios create a positive musical atmosphere where you can focus on learning, away from the distractions of home.
Highly Skilled, Friendly Teachers
Our university trained instructors are highly qualified and many have extensive performance experience. Most importantly, our instructors tailor their teaching to each individual student’s learning style. Whether your goal is learning music for your own enjoyment or to become a professional player one day, our instructors will guide your progress with care.
All Ages – Beginners to Advanced
Our current students range from 1 years old all the way to students in their 50s and 60s. We take care to teach what you want to learn so that the experience of learning music is rewarding for students of all ages and levels.
Regular Recitals
Recitals are held monthly every First Friday of the month to provide students with performance experience and to build confidence. Our low pressure recitals are a terrific way for students to share what they’ve learned with friends and family.
Exam Preparation
For piano and violin/viola students wanting a codified approach to musical study, we have instructors on staff certified by the Music Teacher’s Association of California. These students undergo full training in repertoire, technique, ear training and sight reading in order to prepare for the yearly evaluations known as the Certificate of Merit program. Students reaching the upper levels of this program can quality for college credit.
Preschool/Early Childhood Music Program
Our group classes for kids 6 and under expose children to the basics of music in a fun, supportive environment. Our classes include: Melody Time (ages 1-2), Little Musicmakers (ages 2.5-5), and Keyboard Kids (ages 5-6). These programs build a solid foundation for later success in studying a musical instrument.
