SUMMER PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP: 
Aladdin, the Musical!
(Ages 11 thru high school, $175 plus $20 materials fee)  
Theater games, training in basic acting skills (drama/comedy technique), singing and movement exercises. Actors will learn a scripted role culminating in a full costume, one hour play for family and friends. Rehearsals July 30 - Aug. 16, with performance on Sunday, Aug. 18 at Bixby Knolls Christian Church. See full schedule below.

About the instructor: Cheri Harris studied dramatics arts at UCI and Maui Academy of Performing Arts, improvisation with Salli Daniels, and drama workshops with Richard Hatch, Robert de Angelo and David Johnston. She has directed Youth Theater for Long Beach Shakespeare Company and Public Theater of Long Beach. She had her own theater company for 7 years in Ojai, CA.  She has performed with the original Musical Theater West, Maui On Stage, Maui Academy of Performing Arts and Studio H'Poko.
