Why Choose Us

Reasons which make us the best choice for you

Monthly Recitals
Recitals are held monthly at our First Fridays student showcases, which provide students with performance experience and build confidence. Recitals include both solo pieces and ensemble playing.

Private & Group Lessons
Private lessons ensure that the student has the undivided attention of the teacher and can progress at a level suited to them individually. Group classes are also offered for popular instruments such as piano and guitar, and provide an inexpensive way for students to get some basics under their belt.

Highly Skilled, Friendly Teachers
Our instructors are university trained and have extensive performance experience, and many have advanced degrees in music. Multiple teachers are available for most instruments, enabling you to find a teacher who best matches your learning style and musical goals. Most importantly, our instructors customize their teaching to each individual student, and are encouraging and fun!

All Ages – Beginners to Advanced
Our current students range from 3 years old (in our Little Music Makers group class) all the way to students in their 50s and 60s. We take care to teach what you want to learn so music is rewarding for students of all ages and levels.

Focus On Teaching
Teaching music is our primary function. We have a relaxed and friendly studio environment, where students can enjoy lessons away from the distractions of home (tv, pets, etc.). Our comfortable waiting area has toys and books for students & their siblings!

Exam Preparation
We offer full training in repertoire, studies, technique, ear training and sight reading to prepare interested piano and violin students for yearly evaluations offered by the Music Teachers National Association and ABRSM (the exam board of the Royal Schools of Music).

Preschool/Early Childhood Music Program
Our group classes for kids 7 and under expose children to the basics of music in a fun, supportive environment. Our classes include: Little Music Makers (ages 3-5) and Keyboard Kids (ages 5-6). These programs build a solid foundation for later success in studying a musical instrument.

Great Location in Long Beach
Our studios are located in the beautiful Bixby Knolls area of Long Beach. We are close to terrific restaurants, shopping and coffee shops that you can visit during or after your child’s lesson.

Friendly desk staff to assist you
Helpful, courteous front desk staffers are always available to provide for all your questions and needs at the studio. This allows our instructors to focus on what they do best: teaching!
